    Great Gorges and Sacred Peaks

    Explore a wild corner of China where the three great rivers originating on the Tibetan Plateau cut deep gorges through the eastern Himalayas in one of the most culturally diverse areas of China. This is a hiking trip with some options to ride horses over steep areas and extend the trip to include challenging hiking and camping while crossing the spectacular Peacock Mountain Pass. This is a great trip for photography, cross-cultural contact, birding or just appreciating the diversity of China. Bilingual Chinese guides accompany you throughout the trip.
